      4070 is on average about 5% faster than 6800xt. also more power efficient

      the only reason to buy 6800xt is 16gb VRAM

        It's showing $820-$860 in what you're linking, before gift cards and cashbacks.

        It's equal in raster at all resolutions, and has better quality upscaling, better RT performance, even better PT performance, frame generation, and AV1 encode. Why is this a real question?

        Are you going to sit here and argue that 4070 prices aren't going to drop further, or that these deals won't happen again for months? You'd be wrong on both counts.

            @shabaka: 90 watts difference and since it's slightly faster you can reduce power target/undervolt to make up a chunk of the difference. Not a deal breaker.
