Thank goodness they got the spelling right.

Interesting to see what a Sha Bi knife would look like. šŸ˜Æ

It's kind of triangular with a groove down the middlle …

      • Full tang I guess.

These are pretty godly. Just be aware they feel quite dangerous to use and nobody will want to be within 10 metres of you.

      True story.

looks like the 7 inch knife is more suitable for me.

I have a mate who is a serious knife nerd - blade sharpening is one of his "passions"; he has, and really rates, this specific knife.

So, I just bought one - cheers OP.

  • is this different to "SHI BA ZI ZUO 8" Cleaver $33.10" from last fortnight?

    • Cleaver is for chopping bones. Itā€™s thicker and a lot heavier

      • There's all cleavers. The other one is heavier but more of an all-purpose knife, not only for chopping bones.

      • ok thanks, just the photo looks the same

  • Does anyone have any experience with the 7ā€ chef knife? Could be a better daily option at a slightly lower price point.

Would rather get the 9": https://www.amazon.com.au/Professional-Stainless-Vegetable-Nā€¦ for a dollar more

  • Can someone tell me where do they put this big knife in? Any holder recommendation?

    • A mate uses a magnetic holder for his larger knives. I have a knife block that has those little black flex rods in them, makes the block universal.

Get some mineral oil for the handle too

  • What sort of sharpener would suit this?

  • a good price for the recommending 80Cr13 type
