    With S&S it's a minimum order of 2.

  • How many people still use fabric softeners?

    • Whats wrong with using fabric softener?

      • Apart from being bad for your clothes and laundry appliances nothing…

        • Hmm i didnt realise. Will have to read up more about it.

I thought fabric softener kept the cloths nice and soft.

          • @Turbonetics: They do keep your clothes soft but apparently not good for your machine. Some suggest vinegar as an alternative.

          • @Turbonetics: They aren't great for towels and flannelette.
White vinegar does a better job of keeping those fluffy.

  • Fabric softeners make your towels less absorbent but softer and fluffy. Read articles from washing machine repairers saying that softeners contribute to machine fouling. It's also not as healthy for your skin as you perspire making contact with softeners.
White vinegar is recommended and cheap.

    • although i agree with you regarding the great fabric softener hoax, im not sure if id recommend vinegar instead.

I dont have any sources at this stage regarding why vinegar is bad flr washing machines i do have this from choice magagine (not the only source that states similar) re the truth abiut fabric softeners.
