  • I bought one of these (http://dx.com/p/hook-style-stylish-bluetooth-handsfree-heads…) for $12 and its not even the cheapest one available. Works fine so far. $35 to buy local (and get it quicker) is ok, but $75 normally seems a bit steep.

Also you should note that the $35 doesn't include postage which was +$14 for me.

    • do you actually know what is the difference between a brand name items and a china one?
i can say why people would pay $500+ for a Apple or Samsung phone instead of buying some <$50 Chinese mobile phones from eBay?

Chill people, I agree with you. I was just sharing my experiences with BT headsets, I bought cheap and had no problems. Comparing a BT headset to a phone is a little unreasonable considering the complexity differences between the two.

@xxxfbsxxx, Can you actually tell me what is the difference between a brand name item and a china one? Because if you opened up these two devices you will find a battery, a mic, a speaker, some buttons and a BT sender/receiver. There is no OS than can be made crap like a phone, nor a high resolution screen/camera, nor a dual (or more) core cpu. It can't have the memory reduced to near zero like a cheap Chinese phone either.

The only difference IMO is the quality of the battery, and build quality of the device and as I said, I have had no issues. I didn't say "Don't buy this Plantronics device", in fact I said the opposite.

    • It's pretty hard to compare a cheap Chinese no-brand with Plantronics - as with most things, you get what you pay for. This for $35 is a great deal. I'd choose Jabra over Plantronics but they both make good quality equipment.

  • Even marvel avengers use plantronics:-P
But the 1 they used is at least 3 yrs old

  • plantronics have a good reputation, but the 4 hour battery life is a little on the low side these days. For 35 bucks its not a bad buy.

    What sort of charger?

  • it looks like its got an apple home button on it - Apple will eventually sue them lol

  • Apple symbolis a square and this is a circle, but I know what you mean, apple will find any excuse to sue. Unless they designed it to be like that with apple's permission?
