I've seen these in the $200-250 range on Amazon Germany (shipped to Au) before. There were PlayStation and Xbox versions and they were being cleared out over several months. Reviews put me off at those prices, pretty much saying good sounding headphones but average at everything else. May as well get a proper set like XMs or Px7s2e at this price.

Are you sure it wasn't eur200-250?

    • Was it posted here?
Yeah the reviews for the Portal isn't great.

      • No it wasn't. Pretty sure there were insufficient quantities whenever I checked.

      • It's interesting though as the sound ability IMO suited me so much better than most other headsets. Seems that once you stray away from pleasing the majority with a specific sound profile, you get poor reviews from rtings.

    • I'd steer clear of Px7s2e. Absolute dog of a headsphone. Sound quality is really good. But the letdowns:
      - Ear cups wear/fall out quick. These are not wrranty items
      - Head leather bit falls apart quickly
      - The sensor which detects if you take it off malfunctions heaps and sometimes when it goes from loud to a quiet cut scene, the whole thing shuts down.

TLDR, the wuality is crap for the price. Stick to sonys.

  • Audeze Maxwell Wireless is better for gaming

  • I bought B&O headphones for my wife. It wasn’t good at all. It made ears uncomfortable. If you wear glasses, it would make it much worse.

I have 2 sets of Bose QC35. My wife ended up using one of mine when traveling.

    • from my b&o form2 headphone experience,they are looker-oriented, not performance…

  • Great sound. Noise cancellation dead average, my old QC25 is noticeably better.

Anyway there’s a cheap secondhand set available in Perth just PM

  • Are these better than XM5?

      No
