I've been waiting for a sale to grab this at a good price. It's well regarded as having excellent sound quality for a Bluetooth speaker and supports AptX.
Yes I have read many reviews. It's not a boom box, so those who just want a loud speaker that goes thumpa thumpa probably shouldn't buy it.
For those who enjoy listening to decent sound reproduction, but want a portable Bluetooth speaker and can't stand the horrible sound quality that comes from the standard Bluetooth SBC, this appears to be the best option.
I recommend messing with the EQ settings. There's a guy on YouTube that tests it and provides the EQ parameters. Its easily done via the app.
Overall, I'm very happy with mine (post-eq) and I agree it sounds much better than the bass heavy devices that are aimed at the masses

I received it yesterday. Out of the box it sounds pretty good for a portable Bluetooth speaker of its size, but not amazing. However, with EQ it sounds fantastic! Would prefer a few more EQ presets to be available, but what's there is good enough to be happy using without adjustment. I'll experiment more with fine tuning the custom EQ over time.
Have 2 that connect between themselves for a stereo experience. Love them

I saw that, but figured since it hasn't repeated in over a year it was probably a mistake. Like someone forgot to remove the discount coupon when the EOFY sale started.
