Definitely a cool exhibition but isn't $22 the normal price?

EDIT: Is the deal $16.50 for groups of 10 or more or is there something else?

    EDIT2: Fixed title for clarity

  • Retro Fridays : All tickets $10 all day on Fridays during August 24 and 31

I think that could be posted a deal, i know I didnt know about that until this was posted.

    • so where do or how do we purchase it for $10?
just use the same link and purchase it on friday?

      • Same link, just select Friday and it comes up for $10.

  • I went to this was disappointed. For $10 might be oookkkk

    • Really? I went to the one they had last time, Game On, and I reckon I could have spent the whole day there. Is it different this time around?

  • Shame this is only in Vic :(

  • I honestly wouldn't bother with it at half this price.
Only go if you like 20 (some will certainly be down for maintainence) retro arcade cabinets with lines 3 people deep, being able to play games that cost $1 on steam, or that you probably already have played to death.
And then you get the internal 40 minute queue for Eden 3D, the game made for motion controls, that you play on a regular pad, with 3 other people, while you share your 5 minutes (1.25 minutes per person) in the screening room.
If you are super lucky you'll think the game looks confusing and crappy until, with 30 seconds to go, the staff realise they never turned the 3d glasses on in the first place. They will then turn them on, give you 15 seconds viewing time in actual 3D, then push you out the door for the next group of 4.

This is a minor complaint for some perhaps, but some of the games weren't even in their original aspect ratio. It was a really really really crappy exhibit, and if I wasn't so glad for it to end, I probably would have waited around to demand a refund.

    • My experience was bit different, I went on a Thursday evening and there was hardly anyone everywhere.

Heaps of Ipad games, Angry birds on 42" screen , PS games, in general pretty awesome exhibition.
