Some, yes, but still able to use the Galaxy Wearables app to control a bunch of settings and stuff with these even if you don't have a Samsung.
No thx. At that price might as well get the Sony XM4 for less.
Even pixel buds pro at $150 is better than this.
This needs to be priced at $119 to even consider.
I'm sorry Samsung, the competition is fierce, your pricing is retarded. (Saying this as a S23 Ultra user)
I think these are more comfortable than the XM4 and superior sound quality to the Pixel Buds Pro. The Pixel Buds Pro are largely overpriced and should have been $150 RRP to begin with, and they are simply cashing in on being part of the 'Google Ecosystem'
How much more comfortable really?
I wear the XM4 for hours everyday and it doesn't hurt my ears whatsoever nor it never close to falling out. YMMV ofc.
All I'm saying is XM4 is cheaper, superior SQ, better ANC and cheaper!
At this price point the buds 2 pro is a massive tough sale.
Yeah the XM4 is completely superior deal here, 100%
But for some people the XM4 is unusable so YMMV :)
@rekke: RTINGS beg to differ: https://www.rtings.com/headphones/tools/compare/samsung-gala…
@Maths Debater: Begs to differ? I just looked at the website, it rates the Buds Pro 2 a 7.5 for comfort, and a 7.0 for the XM4 for comfort. Not sure what it's begging to differ on as it seems it agrees with my statement?
@rekke: Have you looked at the SQ? It's far from superior.
@Maths Debater: Not sure where you think I called it superior, but generally yes if I'm going to be putting something in my ears for upwards of 6 hours a day, part of my purchasing criteria is that it doesn't hurt or cause discomfort…
@rekke: Welp, it's evident that I replied to wrong person, sorry mate LOL.
@Maths Debater: All good :)

Pixel buds pro sound like garbage and the XM4s are uncomfortable and also do not sound as good the galaxy buds 2 pro.
At rhe end if the day these are all disposable e-trash. A $40 pair of IEMs shits all over these in terms of sound quality. Hell even a $20 pair of Blon BL-03 will shit on most $200 + true wireless buds.
Are you serious? These have better ANC, more accurate sound and very light and comfortable, the only real downside to these is the battery life may be less than some people need.

"The Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro True Wireless and the Sony WF-1000XM4 Truly Wireless have different strengths. The Samsung headphones are more comfortable, have a more neutral overall sound profile, which some users may prefer, and their ANC can block out a superior amount of ambient noise. However, the Sony headphones are better-built, have longer-lasting continuous battery life. Their companion app also offers a graphic EQ to help you customize their sound."
You are not the first person to claim too much bass (inaccurate sound profile) equals better sound quality, and wont be the last.
Got Google Buds Pro and sound quality just seems OK? Not blown away at all.
I also have the non-ANC Samsung Buds Plus (bought for $100) and the sound quality is pretty similar. The passive noise cancelling is good enough and the fit is better than the Google Buds Pro.
The normal price of Buds Pro could probably be $50 cheaper. Sale price of $150 should be normal.
Ok I just bought and picked up the buds2 pro since price has now dropped to $188. Will compare it directly to my XM4 ;)
I picked up a pair of these at launch.
So far I've found
The noise cancelling blocks out most the noise, excellent for walking the busy streets of Melbourne.
They're comfortable, but personally I wouldn't count them to stay in your rest with rigorous movement.
Durable from my countless accidental drop tests.
The microphone is very lack luster, it gets the job done but at a mediocre level.
The software is decent, no serious complaints. The locating ringing feature to help find your lost ear bud works just fine.
If you're willing to spend a little more I'd recommend the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds ii
For a deal similar to this if it comes up in the future: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/772427
Bose still has connectivity issues and I don't like the bose sound signature compared to my senheisers or Samsung.
Yeah, that's my first choice too. But Samsung is preferred if you need a compact case and also good even if you forget to remove in your sleep.
$300 vs $190. Almost 30% dearer. Is it really worth 30% more?
For me personally it was the fit and honestly out of the world noise cancelling; I dont think ill be buying a pair of ANC headphones ever after these.
Didn't like my buds2 pro to start with as they would fall out all the time if I wasn't staying still and not talking. Picked up some Comply true grip Foam Ear tips and now they are my favourite.
Bit more hassle rolling the tips each time but well worth it as much more secure in my ears and blocks out more background noise as well.
where do you get the comply true grip foam?
very interested!!.
TIA
JB Hi-Fi.
I hesitated for quite a while because of the cost but worked out well in the end.

King of all true wireless buds per audiophile YouTubers Crinicle in terms of sound quality
The sound quality is phenomenal for the price.
Thanks OP, purchased these for a little more and claimed the difference back. Regardless of The Good Guys talking shit about being a gold member, it's still possible so don't forget to do this if it happens to you!
You're welcome. Glad that you've got the differences. 👍
188.10 now with perks voucher!!
That is ridiculously good value!
JB appear to have an abundance in stock which could explain the price drop.
Still not near historic low. I guess it was about 160
That was a price error
Just bought these last week with price beat 219 from pcbyte :/
Thanks OP, was looking for a good deal on these and thought I'd pull the trigger on this price, not lowest but still great price regardless.
