Well according to gsmarena, your tablet is on android 6 which no longer receives updates to google apps like chrome and youtube so that is one reason to upgrade.
* screen technology of the s2 might be slightly better but tab s6 lite has a larger screen
* processor and ram of tab s6 lite should handle modern day loads better
* battery is bigger
* tab s6 lite should still be receiving android and security updates
* s pen capabilities on s6 lite

Strange the listing on officeworks website, though part model is the same as listed on jb but in Q&A, staff said it’s is the 2020 model but with the old processor, can some one that bought from jb confirm theirs is the 2022 processor?
Considering that model number says sm p610 in OW specs it's best to stay on the safe side and spend $10 more at JB instead of risking it price beating mobileciti

The one from officeworks office has the tablet model number as SM-p610 but part no. as SM-P613NZAAXSA whiich is the same as the one model number from JB in your reply thats why it confuses me.
Any way, before the perks deal from JB ended i placed an order with them as well. Is there any way knowing which model is which without unboxed them?
@Datatemp: no worries. there should be a sticker with model & serial number on the packaging. i checked mine to make sure it's 2022 version before opening.

@issachar: No, I haven't received mine, the one i ordered from officeworks i chose to have it delivery and shipment is tomorrow, and the one i ordered from JB hasn't send me confirmation for collection.
The details of the sticker on the box from officeworks i mentioned in my earlier comment were from a family friend that bought from his local officeworks.
So screen bleeding is common a issue with this tablet?
If bleeding is the common amongst the TFT screen then maybe I should keep using my Tab S2 which has the Super AMOLED, yes is still running Android 7 and is bit slow when i have too many tab opening, Roblox that used to play by the kids no longer load properly or even load at all but I mainly use it for net browsing, YT, Netflix and playing movies (usually bed time which I will notice the bleed screen more if i get the S6 lite), screen casting and mirroring for the kids to watch movies (can't cast/screen mirror to firetv using ipad and iphone) when we go away.
@Datatemp: you can easily find quite a lot of discussion about this issue by googling 's6 lite screen bleeding'. to be fair, it's only slightly visible in darker wallpaper, it doesn't affect the screen function..you might not even notice that it's there. i guess i have ocd and feeling annoyed with this kind of thing especially if it's a brand new device :) check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dklyMgCla_M&t=153 , the guy had issue with his device, got it replaced but the issue still there - though better than the first one.

Also when I go to settings, about tablet, model number listed there is SM-P610, so it’s the 2020 version :(
@Datatemp: That's a shame, I guess it is widespread issue..is the screen bleed on the 2020 model? I thought it doesn't affect the 2020 model.
I suppose if you are not happy you can return it to OW and can a refund.
