i always carry one in my car

makes those police searches extra interesting

I would do it because it's funny but you would just end up wasting your own time and police time (tax payer's money) when the police are searching your car.

3c cheaper and I would prefer buying from a reputable seller on eBay rather than a generic random gadgets website.

Any idea if these are any good? Jokes aside, I need one for baking and weighing smaller amounts of dry ingredients. Are these accurate enough or is there something better (but still in the OzB price range)?

Baking….dry ingredients….yes very original. Yes they are accurate for cooking, I meant baking.

      Try dealxtreme.com

I have the 0.01g resolution scales which I use to (believe it or not) weigh coffee grinds. The scales look exactly like the one's pictured in this bargain so I'm not surprised if these are manufactured by the same supplier. The scales I have also include a blue backlight.

Apparently the 0.01g resolution scales should only be used for accurate measurement in 0.1 increments (with the 0.01 increments not that accurate). The scales posted here would have been more appropriate for my application as it goes up to 1kg where as the 0.01 resolution scales only go up to about 200g. Pretty useless for me as my espresso machine's portafilter handle maxes out the scale.

      Hope this post helps

      cheers - very helpful thanks

Ya know - not EVERYONE is interested in weighing drugs…I also like to weigh how much hair I lose on my pillow every night :-(

        That's… odd.

  • can these be trusted… you know don't want to get administer the wrong dosage..

I have one, I also bought a 5g calibration weight at the same time (from dx though)
My one is accurate. I use when I'm making hamburgers, so the patty ends up a uniform size.
