  unpopular opinion: these are overhyped and overpriced.

  I prefer inkjoys, they write far smoother. and yea, they don't have the gimmicky soft gel grip, but the triangular grip is plenty comfortable.

  i'm a teacher, for what it's worth, and on occasion have to spend hours using a pen for marking etc. I've tried a fair few, have really settled into parker pens (or at least, using parker pen inks in cheapo pens that take parker pen refills - aliexpress has metal replicas of parker jotters for like $2) and papermate inkjoys.

  certainly do accept that these uni alpha-gel jetstream pens have a far better reputation online though. hence why i started this comment with "unpopular opinion".

  Thanks OP, another alpha-gel to add to my collection. I don't even use them, I use an ipad for notetaking now. And yet I have 8 different alpha-gels in both pen and pencil flavors. with this purchase, I finally have all 3 colors of this model.
