Reserve now & pay later is listed on Shopback's own promotion page so I would say yes
You can try and let us know. You are not paying anything anyway.
Shouldn't cause trouble mate, let me know if you see anything odd though when it does track, happy to take a closer look!
How long does it take to track? No tracking for 2hours.
Mine took 25 mins
Does it get much higher than this? Looking to book tours for Nov so still need to investigate some options before pulling the pin
No
I'm not sure if tour companies like Klook and Viator are genuinely worth the money. I think you can organise the same thing cheaper once you're at the destination? Problem with buying these is you have to be 100% certain you'll book and use them in advance, or lose your money?
Totally depends on location and tour. For some, it's a fixed price so it's better to book through here but others the tour operators change prices locally
Plenty of bookings here have free cancellation where you can cancel right up to 24 hours before the scheduled date and get a full refund. Also with Reserve Now & Pay Later you don't even need to be out of pocket until much closer to the date.
Just make sure to check for these if you want it.
What happens after the $100 cap? Regular 4.2% or nothing?
I have my eyes on a $1200 booking, would I be better off waiting for it to go to 15% (hopefully with no specified cap)?
Just $100 max
If you're able to, you could split your booking into multiple transactions which means they can get up to $100 each.
$100 cap total or per transaction?
Going from the rep's previous comments
Unless we specifically call out "Per Customer" or "Per Account" it is always safe to assume it'll be per transaction.
Has your purchase tracked? I made three separate purchases on Viator during the 30% cashback time period and nothing has tracked. An Expedia purchase made minutes before tracked just fine. Something weird going on. @gotyourback any ideas?
Hmm, I haven't seen any reports of a tracking issue with Viator, as it's been 2 days I'd definitely reach out to our team so we can make a claim with Viator for you.
Yep I have made 3 claims. Is there any way to expedite them?
Once claimed it'll get seen to by Expedia, so it's a little bit out of our hands I'm afraid, but happy to check in on the progress where I can in the meantime.
@gotyourback: My Viator transaction and my wife's transaction didn't track. Status changed to Pending after lodging missing traction reports, but both got rejected today.
We have been using Shopback and Cashrewards for years. This is the first time this has happened to both of us. I really think Viator has a problem.
Hi JB0815,
Any luck with your Viator claims? I had made 2 Viator claims for 28/5 and 1 Viator claim for 16/5. All 3 rejected today.
Another Viator transaction for 16/5 tracked without any issues.
Hi JB0815, Any luck with your claims? I had issues with 3 Viator transactions as well. I think going directly to Viator and adding items to cart, just before clicking through Shopback, causes tracking issues. This condition is obviously not mentioned in Shopback's Viator Terms and Conditions.
@gotyourback Do we still get 30% cashback if we do Reserve Now, Pay Later?
