Dead Space (2023) remake is on sale at the moment for 20% off for $71.96 down from $89.95. Epic Games currently has a 25% off coupon which you can get for free.
This makes the final price $53.97 which is the lowest price its ever been.
You are playing one of the greatest horror games. This isn't here to change the game but to realise as much as possible the original vision.
They played it very safe as a remake but IMO that's necessary considering how badly EA has performed in the last year's. Hopefully they are more ambitious with the sequel remake.
So owning the original, is it worth it to get this if I've not finished it before?
They're playing it extremely safe, running a 90 minute demo on Steam just to check if they should bother patching the game further for the first time since February.
Dead Space is one of my favourite games, and the first game I bothered to get the platinum trophy for. But the first time I played it I wasn't much on it either, and it wasn't until I came back to it years later that I grew to love it. I kinda consider it a spacey Resi 4 evolution, which is high praise indeed.
The Callisto Protocol is about $40 aswell if your looking for a similar game..

Having never played the original Dead Space, I got this version.
I'm a couple hours in and honestly, I don't know what the fuss is about.
I'm thinking the appeal of this version is for fans of the old Dead Space, just having better graphics.
