  If you're going to the trouble of hanging a - heavy - 1.8m barn door, get hardware with soft close. We have a 2.4m barn door and it took 2 of us to lift it, that much weight has some serious momentum.

  You could use one of these attached to a couple of bookcases and a ladder to simulate of those rolling library setups. For deco only unless the bookcases were secured to the wall.
