There haven't been many discounts going around for genuine filters from Brita lately - this one looks to be the best for quite some time.

Yep - but since that deal there has not been much discounting at all. Nothing I could find under $10/each. For those that are in the market for some now or the near future, this is the best deal I've seen since January.
Difficult to say what kills me more, drinking unfiltered water or the amount of plastic these non-recyclable filters use.
They seem to have a recycling program you can send to (after you have accumulated 9+ used filters…)
