Unpopular opinion here: have 4 heymix chargers running nearly all the time (3 at home + 1 in the office). Never had a single issue, charges ipad / switch / macbook air perfectly. Doesn't get as hot as people pretend.
Maybe I had a lucky lot?

Much as I love HEYMIX products, I'd say no to this one. 5cube outlets can be had for a lot less on Sunday markets.
TBH, there are many failure on chargers where the root cause is due to bad quality cables
most people will just blame the charger but not the cable
I got a "burnt" belkin adapter that was later found the issue was from the cable
and never have issues with Heymix adapter so far (over 6 adapters at home, mixture of 20w, 65w and 100w)
Good quality chargers shouldn't ever fail due to bad cables.

Off topic, one thing I've noticed now looking for GaN USB adaptors is that there are some random brands which look identical to the Heymix ones which is worrying as they are most likely from the same factory as Heymix…
Yeah plenty of shared models between cheap brands.
There's overlap between between Heymix and other brands in terms of models but, iirc, according to another rep there can even be differences in the quality of batches.

Lol, they sell faulty products if the reviews and comments are anything to go by. Take the infamous powerboard as an example - confirmed in multiple reviews with pictures that it is incorrectly wired(click the third pic).
The interesting thing is that this must have been reported to Amazon and likely to the seller, but yet it is still for sale. Example review from April. This is strictly my opinion, but, iff they're able to sell that without any repercussions, why take the risk with their other products?
What is that plug with light and tag called? Might be handy to have one?

I've bought 3x heymix chargers before and they heat up significantly + don't provide the specified voltage (significantly less than their rating).
I'd suggest staying away, saving a few bucks when it's literally the thing that would most likely cause a house fire isn't worth it
