Logitech Wireless Touchpad

Surf with ease:
With multi-touch navigation, it’s easier than ever to point, scroll and swipe your way to wherever you want to go on the Web and more.

Point, scroll, swipe—naturally—thanks to the large, multi-touch touchpad that makes it easy to go wherever you want to go on the Web and more.

One-finger control:
Touch one finger anywhere on the touchpad to control your cursor. Want to click on a link? Just tap and go.

Two-finger scrolling:
Scroll up or down with two fingers to easily move through a document or your favorite web page—like your list of friends on your Facebook® page.

Three-finger swipe:
A simple, three-finger horizontal swipe moves you back and forth so you can flip through your wedding photos or move from your Amazon® wish list to your Gmail™ account in a flash. With a three-finger vertical swipe, you can easily move page-up or page-down.

Four-finger swipe:
Use a four-finger swipe to switch between your favorite applications. Jump from Internet Explorer® to Skype™ with just a swipe.

Logitech Unifying receiver:
The tiny receiver stays in your laptop. Plus, you can easily add a compatible wireless mouse, keyboard or number pad—without the hassle of multiple USB receivers.

Fewer battery hassles:
A 4-month battery life means you can go for months without the hassle of changing batteries.** And an LED indicator tells you when the touchpad is on and your batteries are running low.

  • Wireless range may vary due to environmental and computing conditions.

  • Would be cool to use with XBMC and other types of situations. Though i wish it had like a keyboard on the other side, I'd snap it up in a second.

It's a bit more expensive but great for XBMC/HTPC

      • Yep, I use one for my HTPC and it is great. Officeworks has standard price on shelf of $49.95

        • K400 is cool with multitouch, But I still love my Dinovo Edge!
when are they going to release a dinovo edge with nano reciever & multitouch…

      • K400 - I imagine would be easier to use, the touchpad looks like it needs a stable surface to be effective.

I got my K400 for (from memory) $32 plus $9 delivery - and it's brilliant (the keyboard is big enough for my giant ape-fingers).

It's one of them ones with Chinee squiggles on the keys (along with proper Aussie letters that I use to make real Aussie words). So now I know what my XBMC password is in squiggles. I guess that could be useful if Peking decides that we need regime change and freedom-by-invasion because of our participation in US global atrocities.

(Note: I's allowed to be racist, coz I is part chocolate [and the only type of chocolate who fought Whitey to a standstill and signed a treaty of equals].

Plus, we's all supposed to hate foreigners now - it's .gov policy: blow up countries staffed by brown folks, and when - like James Cook and other people we revere - they take to the seas and face untold danger to seek out a new life by whatever means they can afford… well, we ship 'em to a concentration camp on an island in the middle of nowhere overseen by otherwise-unemployable troglodytes who failed high school. Classy)

    • try this:
      http://www.smarthome.com.au/51-wireless-keyboards
Doesn't need driver, include air mouse.

      Or this:
      http://www.estore.com.au/Wireless_Handheld_Keyboard_RDM0064.…
Bluetooth, includes receiver if ur HTPC doesn't have bluetooth, requires driver but works with Android phones/tablets.

  • What about Mac OS X support?

    • don't bother, these sucks

  • I bought 2 of these from the LogitechShop, cannot fault their deliver speed or the price! And I recommend it at this price.

BUT I have found though that these touchpads tend to have "crazy" moments and will randomly move cursors and press things. I was using these to drive presentations - ie to move to the next slide, ended up going all over the place. Not sure if it's interference, but it was a bit of a pain in the arse.

Also the other problem I found with this touch pad is that since yo have nothing to rest your hand on - it hurts like crazy by the end of the day.

  • This is in reponse to the K400 keyboard mentioned above

I got this pricematched at Officeworks
    Centrecom price $45
Officework price matched and applied 5% so brought it to $42.50
showed them price on website..no questions..too easy

Works excellent for XBMC and for Smart TV (Soniq 40") etc..track pad is so much better on Smart TV than the supplied remote.
Only negative of it, quite flimsy…if you do a torsional twist, i reckon it would break, so not great if you have kids who are rough with things

    • Wow watch the video on the site, it has apple written all over it.

And i could imagine this being very awkward to use. But hey it looks cool.

  • you can have it for $28.50 from officeworks after pricematch..

    • OW out of stock

      • got two for $57 from OW, Croydon, SA…
