Nah single player gacha, I think you can add friends but not really sure what it does.
Some parts feel similar to Genshin but much more linear and the battles are turn-based instead.
You can use friend's characters as a support when farming, which gives them some extra credits but other than that it doesn't really do much from experience

I downloaded this through epic but deleted it when I found out it was a launcher within a launcher. Is there a way to get the launcher stand-alone?

For what it's worth, Epic is DRM-free anyway so you technically don't need to launch it every time you launch Honkai/any other game, you can just create a shortcut or something and run it directly.

This game is perfect for mobile gaming.
I didn't enjoy Genshin, but this one has certain alure around it.
Surprised how well my Pixel 7 run it.
I liked Genshin but definitely much prefer this as a mobile game.
Genshin became too time consuming just for the dailies, this game is way quicker and also has an auto mode so you can set it aside for dailies while you do something else and then come back and actually play.

Singleplayer only. I get ~130ms to Asia servers but it really doesn't matter, it's turn-based and I don't imagine it would affect anything drastically
