  • This or a second-hand LG 27UK850 IPS 4K USB-C monitor for $299?

    • +1

I am using the LG in portrait mode.
LG does not have PD, nor LAN, and only have 2x USB 3 downstream.

I'd recommend for the Dell if you intend to keep it for another 3-5 years for productivity use.

  • What speeds can you get on the network connection with these? Can it deliver 1Gbe?

    • +1

Network (RJ45) data rate via USB-C max speed is 1000 Mbps.

      • Thanks.

    $499 for a 60 Hz display.
even for office use i wouldn't recommend this.

    • What would you recommend?

    • +1

      60 Hz display

      office use is fine

      why post nonsense?
only thing that matters is the price, size and resolution

      the bigger issue
      27" + 4K for office is pointless

      • +2

Actually for me 27" + 4K for office use is great (typing on it now - LG 27UP550N).
I love the real estate I fit on this at its recommended 3840 x 2160 - best screen setup I've got (I have got 3 offices)
        Love it

27" 4K is actually perfect. I have 2 Dell ones and in Windows I set it to 4K then scale the display to 125% (or 150%) and I've got myself a nice HiDP 27" display.

    • Let me add to this by saying it depends on your use case.
If you are looking at still images all day then you won't notice a difference.
For me, the second i start scrolling on a 60hz display the awful "choppiness" becomes immediately distracting.

  • Nice. Says $23 delivery for me. If you have ebay plus it's a bit cheaper (496 delivered) on their ebay store:

  • Is this or the LG 32UN88A ($687) better?

  • Can this monitor support daisy chaining? Looking to buy this to go along with the Dell S2722QC. Thanks!

    • Sadly no. If you want daisy chaining then go for the P2723DE or U2723QE

      • That's a shame. Thank you for your reply :)
