      6 core is plenty of power if you are running 4070. But try to use good 6000 CL30 RAM. If you want to future proof and not upgrading often, then a 7700X or 7800X3D would be better.

      If just for gaming i don't think Ryzen 7000 series is good value for money. I would look for previous generation such as a Ryzen 5 5700x or intel 12600k/13600k, as the MOBO and DDR4 ram is cheaper.

      But I think for AM5 platform, I wouldn't get anything cheaper than this motherboard. Again depending on your budget and what you use computer for.

    Generally, you would get the 7900 if you were doing an Unraid Server + Gaming Machine (in Windows VM). The Motherboard might not be the most appropriate for those needing extra PCI slots (10GB NIC / SAS Card, for example). But that is a good deal for sure.
