Do you even Melbourne coffee scene?
Nope, I Ozbargain though & notice a lot more coffee posts from Reps using Aus number one bargain website for free advertising.
Just had a look at old posts & around $30 + delivery attracts more upvotes.
By OzB standards it is more expensive per kg than the others that usually post on here like Arjo, Lime Blue, etc. However it's a limited edition blend (no idea if it's good or not). Seems the usual coffee posts (non-single origin or limited edition) are between $25-$35 per kg, and that often includes delivery. By contrast the Aldi ones are I think around $15 per kg.
@werdplaya58: Comparing Airjo to Inglewood is really unfair. Inglewood is miles better.
@moooz: I didn't really comment at all on quality, that was just giving some context on price for the original poster. Personally I would rate Inglewood a little higher but not by miles. I've ordered from both many times, but haven't ordered Inglewood beans for a while since I found their service was a bit unreliable.
I live in Melbourne and buy the cheapest beans from Aldi…they work well in my Delonghi fully automatic coffee machine that I got given for free
I'd better hand back my Hookturnistan visa :(
You deserve an Ozbargain badge for being so tight.
$41.40 + del for 1kg, is it a bargain?
