They’ve been my favourite for years, predominantly used em for RL. Tried the ps5 controller for a while, but Xbox shape is just more natural and comfier imo

It’s not nearly as bright in person - more of a deep red (which I think is slight false advertising but whatever). Still prefer the black, but for $50 can’t complain haha

Yes, they need AA batteries. Alternatively, you can buy the official Microsoft rechargeable battery that can be recharged via the USB-C port on the controller.
Am I in the minority of people who love devices on aa/aaa? I've got so many rechargable batteries from envelop deals and it's so easy to hot swap. This is true wireless. Not leaving that cable or dedicated cabled device to charge them.
