3L is tiny, even for family of 1 or 2 I'd recommend the 5.7L.

  • We have a 3l one and its ideal for 2 people.

  • We got the 7 in 1 5.7L of this brand from Amazon a few weeks ago for $79.50 delivered and it’s been great, slow cooked lamb shanks (without the bones) fed 10 adults and the meat was amazing, very easy to clean the inner bowl. Also cooked apricot chicken as well 👌

    • I doubt you could get lamb shanks, or in fact anything with a bone in it, in a 3L.

I guess if you like to make soups fast, or no stir risottos, or casseroles with the meat cut up, 3L could be right for you, but I would also recommend at least the 5.7L.

On that note, another option is just to get a regular pressure cooker that's bigger for the same price or less, I don't really know what people do in these that you can do in a normal pressure cooker

      • everything

    • Yep, thw bowl and lid can go straight in the dishwasher too.

  • This thing is bloody great. It's fine for one person, making just about anything. For two people, it'd be fine just the meat portion of the meal, or perhaps something with lots of liquid like a soup where there's no space wasted.

  • Tempted to get one as a rice cooker since it is a stainless bowl not Teflon. If you didn't have one the next size up would be more versatile.

I have the philips pressure cooker. Great piece of kit. I need a replacement rubber gasket seal but can't stomach paying $40 for it.

    Any recommendations?

    • I cant even find any link for replacement, mind to share?
We might have to stomach the $40 because our rubber seal is loose and always come off.
