      Because these cheap chairs are made of garbage. The PU leather will start shedding after one summer and the piston will give out if more than a child sits on it. Wouldn't trust one with power running through it either will probably electrocute you. So much disposable stuff made to look good and break, when with a little more effort could make stuff that actually lasts instead of polluting and wasting resources.

      Probably has a cheap gas strut with a 100kg capacity, can get a better rated replacement quite easily. The frame looks similar to most of the other brand name gaming chairs.
