  Hi Rep I noticed you didn't respond to this negative feedback from @b-t so will paste it here to let others know -

  Negging based on previous experience dealing with this company.
  I purchased a 3D Touch auto-leveling sensor from them previously. The sensor itself was faulty as it would sometimes go out of sync with the probe and then, go into an error state and fail the whole leveling process.
  I raised this with the company with photos and videos of the operation and they gave me the best reply:
  Our technician confirmed there is no problem with the sensor.
  We wish you all the best!
  So I then asked them how having a sensor going into an error state (and blinking red to visually show you that it's in an error state) mean there is "no problem"? Of course, they completely ghosted me after that.
  Thank god I paid with PayPal. I raised a dispute which I ended up winning with the exact same photos and videos.
  Never going to buy from them again.

  I think if you're going to post on Aus number one bargain website your customer service needs to be better than this. Not leaving them resorting to Paypal disputes.

      Thing is, such behaviour is pretty much standard for all the budget 3D printers. I've seen the same behaviour from Evnovo (Artillery), Creality, Two Trees/Biqu et al … there's really no winning at this end of the market.

        Not true. My ender 3 pro had a dip in the centre of the bed, Creality sent me a whole new hot bed and removable magnetic build surface.

          @Lizard Spock: I deal with a 50+ printers a year. At that sample size I can tell you a lot of customers just get put in the too hard basket and ignored.

        Rep has a second chance to reply and has completely ignored it. You can't use OzBargain as an advertising medium and then not expect to deal with the feedback. Downvote..

  NOPE! When an ender is roughly $50 more, is a full-supported extruder, and is well community supported?

  Good little printer for a first timer. Overall simplicity in a robust design gives a lot less to go wrong and troubleshoot than something like an Ender 3.

        honestly i had a terrible experience with creality when I had one of their printers, so I would say just get an anycubic kobra / max, but if you need to get an ender, pretty sure the 3 s1 is pretty good.

      Whatever printer you get I highly recommend getting one with a PEI sheet for printing on. Will save adhesion anxiety.

    This is a reasonable choice because it’sa small investment and the linear rails design help keep it in tune which tends to be one of the harder aspects of printing for newbies. I have recommended these a few times for those that want to try out 3d printing without a specific commercial need or project. Lots of people say ender3 because they are so community supported and have so many upgrades. But fundamentally they are not a printer that can do a lot of work or sort a long time without upgrades. People get over invested in them because they need lots of investment. Don’t get sucked into the hype.
