      I believe the limit is capped by True Rewards at 10x 5x $100 cards per Cashrewards member. However each purchase requires a new click-out from Cashrewards and therefore a new transaction. Thanks.

      • Tried to stay 32 days in as many airbnb's as possible. Soon found out I was becoming the product. Just like Trivago they just dangle hotel rooms, one can book them directly not only cheaper but get the breakfast that is promised by the above and NOT supplied. Then I got dozens of messages that I was an idiot not to read their reviews I was prevented from reading! What an idiot company!
        So you need to write a review and then see that the company has just sold you!
        One Host was advertising 2 rooms but was actually renting 3. Then I got extorted to pay illegal drip pricing for NOT using the drying room and waste all of my time.

          sounds like dodgy hosts and airbnb not backing up customers.

          I've had 5 or 6 different stays/bookings in different countries, all have been great.

          • @ltwo: Back in 2019 we had 6 stays and 5 were perfect.
            FF to 2022 and 8 out of 10 did not live to expectation: Bed not made, no towel, asked to illegally dispose waste, cutlery missing and faulty locks. Let alone one host kept on spying on me!
            None of the issues were addressed by Airbnb!

          I also got scammed at an Airbnb in Asia.

          I purchased the whole property (3 rooms) and the Owner/Host only gave us two rooms once he realised it was just two adults and one child coming. I needed the third private room for work.

          Huge hassle and it lead to a big argument as we were extorted for cash. Properties were also very expensive at the last minute.

          Be careful with Airbnb.

            But the dodgy bait and switch is unacceptable.

    Be careful with cashrewards, I bought a $100 gift card from them today and didn't receive the gift card or the cashback, Really Really annoyed, trying to see what I can get done about it

      Hi. I can assure you that if you successfully purchased a gift card, cashback would have tracked to your Cashrewards account. Are you sure you supplied the correct email address when purchasing, and that your CC was charged (were there any errors at checkout)? Either way, contact True Rewards first thing and if you need my assistance, please ask. Let us know here how it pans out. Thank you.

        I already emailed Cashrewards today and their support, very disappointed and annoyed with their service, I'll be contacting True Rewards tommorow at 9am via phone, Instances like this is why I rarely use Cashrewards and have always preferred Shopback, Very very disappointing service from Cashrewards.

          This sounds to me like you possibly had an error at payment stage and your CC was not actually charged, but has a pending amount that will disappear after a couple of days. Not sure why you contacted CR but please quote me your ticket number. I want to see what the response was that made the service so bad. Thanks.

          • @tightarse: I've always preferred Shopback, Cashrewards has just been a really poor service to purchase gift cards from, this situation being no different, Very disappointing and poor service from Cashrewards, Very very unsatisfied as a customer.

    I have bought 4 but I've only received 2?!!?!! However, $400 have been deducted from my bank account? absolute poor service. ticket no 969460.

    Tried to buy this Airbnb giftcards, after submitting payment details, it return with an error, saying that something went wrong, please try again. And I was stupid enough to try again, only to face the same error again. And to my horror, transaction has already gone through my bank account, with no gift card. Now I have to bloody follow up. What a nightmare. I should have just stick with ShopBack..

  • @tightarse I successfully bought 5x $100 GC yesterday and the cashback was successful. I tried again this morning but got an error after submitting my credit card details. There's a pending charge on my credit card but I didn't get the gift card. Was there a limit of 5x $100 per person per day? Or in total? Hopefully the pending charge will go away.
