    Press X to doubt.

For those wonder, the wheel is actually 6kg.

It’s all fun and games until your Fortis exercise machine breaks apart while you’re using it (true story)

    • Sounds like my experiences with Kogan products.

I don't doubt this - I grabbed their 20kg Dumbbell set when it was on sale and the spinlocks do not stay secure. Kind of dangerous

  • I saw similar on sale on dshop, not sure about the reliability

  • Mag resistance is actually better when done right: https://indoorsfitness.com/magnetic-vs-friction-resistance-s…

That said, if this thing has only eight levels of resistance, you should assume that about six of them will be too light for most dudes.

  • so many 2nd hand on gumtree.. wondering why…

  • I have the 4kg black one, not bad for the price. It wouldn't suit anyone that's tall. I'm a pretty short guy so for me its fine but if you are tall then you might struggle. Build quality is ok, seat rattles when using it even when its tightened as much as possible. I use it a few times a week and so far no major issues.

  • I just bought it for $175 three days ago, should have wait ……..

Got my exercise bike from the bulk rubbish verge collection. Free is the best bargain (yes, I asked the owner before taking it)

    • Do you mean ‘curb side collection’?

      • Yes - sorry I've always called it 'bulk rubbish collection'

        PS
why the down votes? Isnt recycling considered to be good these days?
Giving it a 2nd life vs landfill.

        • Not sure. I didn’t down vote.
