Nice find! My advice to people it's to price beat it at Bunnings to get it cheaper and also save the shipping cost.
Edit: Just saw it's liquidation sale, so Bunnings won't price beat.
Price beats usually take into calculation the shipping cost and Bunnings is no exception. Stock liquidation is also excluded but paintmate has been liquidating this paint since forever.
Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks 👍
I think you also need a code so not sure if it applies for items under special discount, right?
The use of a code/coupon/voucher is not excluded by Bunnings' policy. But if you are unfortunate to meet staff who do not know that then you'll be in for a bad experience.
excludes trade quotes, stock liquidations, commercial quantities, and items sold by other Bunnings Group businesses and Bunnings Marketplace
@alvian: In other words try your luck and hope for the best. Thanks for the feedback.
@thousandsuns: gets worse if store being matched is closed as the last time I tried bunnings they refused based on delivery times of the advertised offer were more than 1 day on weekend ……"it's saturday 6 pm …. the other store is closed now and on sunday, so you can't get the drill until tuesday at best so I'm not going match …..akak bunnings manager"
Well id cerrainly hope it's liquidation paint and not dried paint lol!
Bunnings price match policy in practise is made up on the spot.
edit - replied to wrong guy
@DingoBlue: Finally someone's paying attention to me.
Is this Vic only?
Their cart accepted delivery to any Australian address for $15 flat rate. paintmate should but I cannot guarantee that they will fulfil the order.
FYI The link says Melb Metro only.
The product web page says
Australia Wide Delivery
and their cart accepted any address so I don't know one way or the other.
I need to repaint my eaves (cement sheeting) under the front verandah. Currently white. Is this a good paint to use? 15L is a fair bit, not sure I need that much, I may have around 30-40m2 to paint. Alternatives in 10L look around $200 anyway.
Also my current barge board and external woodwork is a mustard yellow which I want to repaint the same colour. Can this be tinted to that or should I look at something else?
Thanks.
I painted our entire weatherboard house 3 years ago with it. Holding up well.
Good price for pretty good paint. Looks nice on timber when applied properly.
Superior to the cheaper alternative, Taubman's Sunproof, which is a bit thinner and sometimes needs an extra coat (save $40 and spend heaps of extra time - not good value).
For those in bushfire prone areas, I suggest applying this intumescent undercoat first:

Looks to be expired? Please confirm.
Damn, was just about to go to bunnings for price beat…
