amaysim Ending Their Popular $119 Woolies Exclusive Plan?

This Woolies exclusive amaysim plan for $119 has been quite popular, for several reasons. It provides unlimited international calls to 28 countries, although amaysim's own equivalent plan ($120) on their website doesnt offer any international inclusions.

The Woolies exclusive plan is often on offer for $99, and also bundled with bonus Everyday reward points (sometimes 2000, sometimes 1000).

The starter pack available at Woolies mentioned a URL to view 'latest inclusions' The URL mentioned is https://amaysim.com.au/119
However, since Saturday, 22-Apr-2023, this URL is erroring out a 404. On the contrary, their other plan for $149, the URL still works fine https://amaysim.com.au/149

Hence, was wondering that with the price rise going on with Telstra, Boost, Woolies Mobile, Vodafone, etc., is amaysim also planning to discontinue this $119 plan? Just thought of putting it out here as it seems to be a popular plan on OzB, especially for those who prefer Long Expiry Plans. The only close contender is the Coles Mobile $119 Plan, which is often on offer for $99.

    I need a 12 month cheap data plan for my new android auto unit so I'm following along with interest. Coles looks like the go.

    What I worry about is that if they’ll honour sold packages that are not activated yet. Would it eventually become a voucher of $119 instead of the attractive plan. I’ve kept one for myself until my current plan expires (still a few months to go) but now I’m not sure anymore.

      Yes, it is a bit of a worry. What does your SIM Pack state - "Correct as of ______" ?
      Also, when we buy these SIM Packs, there is an 'purchase activation' of the SIM Card – you might have got an additional receipt stating 'Card activation was successful' along with your payment receipt. This means that the said plan has been loaded on to your Starter Pack (this is done to avoid theft – the card does not have the plan until it is purchased)

      Hence, I think the plan has already been loaded on your purchased SIM Card, and as per T&C, you may activate it in the next 12 months. In any case, amaysim would be sweet to consider your case if you face any problems, if you chat with the Customer Care.

      The packs are still available at Woolies, albeit at the regular price of $199, so I dont think the plan will be discontinued immediately. Let me know how it goes when you activate.
