Some colourful and well made tool boxes from Japan. I have a green one I previously bought from Papirica in Melbourne, pretty good construction compared to the offerings at Bunnings and has that classic old school design.     wow, prices cheaper but shipping costs massive! 3 times cost of boxes. Am I missing something? Cheaper to buy from Japanese Tools

    Yeah shipping is a killer.

    Funny there is a banner displayed stating free shipping on orders over $US65 and 10% off first order if you subscribe, but I can't get it to work.

    Edit: 10% off does work. You have to wait for the Welcome email with the code rather than trying to apply it from the confirmation pop-up that displays it when you first subscribe. Shipping is still not free.

      it seems they make the unit cost more for US orders as they have free shipping… but shipping was triple the cost of the boxes… that won't be covered by the 10%!

  I have a few of those boxes. Built like a tank and just beautiful compared to the crap that comes out of Repco/Supercheap that are made in China/Taiwan.

  I don't think Toyo wants to ship to Aussie the price is crazy, japanesetools looks to be having another sale at the moment and some new toolboxes. I do design for them and have bought 4 for the kids.
