Product Code: BDPB904HW

Price match at JB or Bing Lee for Bonus $150 VISA GC

If you happen to have an Amex 15% off at Designer Appliances offer, you can try to contact DA and get 15% Cashback. Mine got rejected "Unfortunately, we are unable to match the price on that model as the competitor's price is set significantly below the RRP"

  • Thanks OP, how is this compared to Beko's heat pump dryer?

Cheers, old vented dryer just kicked it and I had a JB giftcard idling by. They matched it at 999 (+55 Delivery for me though).

  • So much for Designer Appliances price beat guarantee. Won’t be buying from them any time soon

Same with me, rejected price match with same reason “price significantly below RRP”, why bother having price match policy at all???

  • DA + 15% AMEX cashback = $1018.30.

DA also eligible for $150 VISA GC = $868.30

If they can come down at all on their pricing, then you are further ahead.

    • Has anyone been into a designer appliances store? My local is “within” a Betta store. If you buy in store how do you ensure it is valid through the designer appliances ‘store’?

      • Amex offer is for online purchase only

        • +1

It actually says online, in-store or over the phone.

          • @strid: yeah your right.

DA told me price match can only be obtained online. Haven't tried it in store tho.

Yes, local DA is inside of a different retailer.

            • @tc423: I’ll have to go in and have a look. The retailer says on their site they price match. Assuming if I pay in store at the Betta that the Amex offer will apply. It’s a bit confusing!

  • Did anybody buy this? If so. What are your thoughts? Im in the market for a heat pump dryer.
    Thanks.

    • Good dryer, quiet and does the job. Still haven't received the GC tho.

      • Thanks. How long does it take to do a full large load?

        • Express - 60mins
          Standard - 2hrs

          • @tc423: Oh wow, i thought express wouldve been quicker than that. Is express when it turns into a normal dryer and it's no longer energy saving?

            • @kimba88: You probably need to run express mode twice if you do a full load.
It's more like finishing a partial load (<5kg) within 1 hour.
I always believe the heat pump dryer takes longer than a vented dryer but still uses less energy as it does not require ventilation.
