Nice find OP
Battery Type: 24V (two 12V) sealed lead-acid, rechargeable. Not for me.
What is?
Lithium
eg. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/765651That one is verboten in Vicland.
@wisdomtooth: Wrong. You are reading an old reg. New rules allow it in Vicland.
@wisdomtooth: We're still waiting for them to be legal in NSW. Hopefully the new government will allow soon?
What’s wrong? Rechargeable sounds good
I think it was more the fact of lead acid
lead acid technology is dated and not well suited to this application. Lithium would give much better performance
i had one of these when i was a kid. no idea what happened to it…
You must be pretty young then!
nah, it was back in like 2009-2010
You had a 250w electric scooter 13 years ago?
@Chickenleg: no idea if it was 250w (probably not) but i just mean one of these razor ones
What are the road rules on these? I heard there are recent changes…
What state are you in? Different rules depending - I'm in SA and they are illegal on public roads.
That’s probably why it’s discounted
Legal in VIC now.
The pneumatic front wheel ruins it, you don't want anything other than a solid shoulder on these things. Very easy to mend this though, the rest of the specs read out awesome, if only for youths as the 100kg weight limit.
as the 100kg weight limit.
Buy two
this is a good answer
Huh? Pnumatic tyres on scooters are infinitely better than solid for ride comfort. Or do you have other reasons for this view?
None in WA. Sad.
