How would this go for some basic Adobe Premiere work?
Better display.
Worse CPU.
More Storage.
Fast Charge.Which would you get out of these two? I am finding good value for money gaming laptops hard to find lately
It's been terrible. A year ago you'd expect a 3060 at this price.
I would get this one ($1099) if I didn't use it as a desktop replacement.
As a desktop replacement, I'd get the $999 one.
for a 100 bucks extra, this deal is better.
Same watrage on GPU?
how is this with autocad
like a kettle plugged into a toaster
It would do it, but a 3050 isn’t really certified for CAD work. You should look for something with an intel Quadro or if you can afford it an Axxxx series GPU. And more RAM tbh.
In HP best option would be a ZBook G9 series (not the dragonfly which I have but that is more a lightweight exec machine).
Just a tad dearer though. Well lots of tads.
I would go dell precision or Lenovo P series (I also have a P14S with a Quadro GPU) which would tend to have brighter and higher res screens and can be had cheaper.
Even so, these CAD workstations are in Apple price land, in fact can make Apple look a bargain, although CAD software sucks on a Mac. AutoCAD about the only one OK.
Looks like it has gone.
The link in here doesn't work for me. Searched JB-Hifi and Here's Deal Link to the product: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/hp-victus-15-6-fhd-gaming…
