Free shipping if you find another silly thing to buy with it and make it over $20 aliexpress shipping $8+

  • Australia has electrical safety standards. If you're claiming that board can take 1.2kw, and you're just taking the from aliexpress, knowing that the number is completely implausible, then you are breaking Australian consumer law. Moreover, you're putting people in danger.

nah, no one is dying over that dc voltage range, above 60v then it might give you enough of a tingling to know where your limit are. The issue with this is in no way it can sustain 20a current without you spending hideous amount of liquid nitrogen to keep the mosfet cool. I've played with a couple of similar board and 10A running though it in a few minute would keep the heatsink at dangerous level, you literally had to get a high speed fan to cool it down.

It can overheat and catch on fire…

Max ratings aren't about getting zapped they're about component and isolation failure. You've practically said it yourself.

          Thanks

          • @marlin: No probs. For the record, I'd totally run these at a few amps or so in non-critical stuff, I just wouldn't trust any of the specs on them.

But it says 20A @ 40-80°c so it must me safe if they're saying so lmfao jokes

    • LOL! 20Amps, don't put it near anything flammable.

  • This doesn't appear to be a bargain when compared to prices elsewhere as mentioned above. More like using OB for free advertising.
