    It isn’t as they must have patched something. doweyy’s deal is still live only if you have clicked through your own Student Beans/ Edge acc

    I shared my link with another OzBargainer to test it but he couldn’t get the code to work

        It generates a special URL from your Student Edge account. It’s the only way to limit code sharing

      yeah for some reason didn't work, dunno if ebay accounts have to be with the same edu email :S…just trying on my ebay plus account activating the code from studentegde and same discount didn't apply.

  Coupon is for education-verified customers only. You will need to first go through StudentEdge website first to "activate" the coupon before you can use it with your eBay account. I don't know they implemented it (maybe browser cookie that is tied to your specific browser hash) but it appears to work this way now.

  Verified using an old .edu address and what a shame, it's an "eligible items only" code.
