I reckon first aid courses should be government funded, only because the more people who have knowledge in saving another persons life the better. When it’s a paid service the numbers of people with the necessary know how will remain low.
Should be tought in all schools as well imo
Basic first aid is required to be taught in Year 7-10 PDHPE (in NSW at least), with the possibility of course coordinators in the senior course to organise for formal qualifications to be attained if the cohort is studying the first aid option unit.
I was tought in school.
Now I'm more on the wobbly side.
Should be free for anyone on job seeker payments and employers should be forced to pay for their employees to get the course if they haven't done it within the last 12 months.
Isn’t the express HLTAID011 that takes one hour the same price?
