The RYOBI 18V ONE+ 2-Piece Automotive Kit provides essential tools for performing simple car maintenance tasks. This Kit comprises an 18V ONE+ HP™ Brushless 4-Mode ½” Compact Impact Wrench, 18V ONE+ Digital Pressure Inflator, 26-Piece ¼” Drive Socket Set, 18V ONE+ Compact 4.0Ah Battery and an 18V ONE+ 1.5A Charger.

The 18V HP™ Brushless 4-Mode ½” Compact Impact Wrench loosens wheel nuts with its powerful HP™ brushless motor that generates 450Nm of breakaway torque. Switching to assist mode applies the right amount of torque so you won’t overtighten or damage nuts and bolts. It’s great for pre-tensioning wheel nuts and reaches up to 110Nm of torque before stopping. The ½” friction ring also makes it easy to attach sockets.

Keep car tyres inflated to their correct pressure with the 18V ONE+ Digital Pressure Inflator. Its 35mm digital screen provides accurate readings of pressure (in BAR and PSI). A sports equipment needle and two high-pressure nozzles are also included and have their own storage compartment on the base of the handle.

Loosen and tighten nuts and bolts with the 26-Piece ¼” Drive Socket Set. This includes 25 x ¼” drive sockets in various sizes. Each socket has a 6-point design for maximum contact. This prevents damage on nuts and bolts caused by slipping and stripping. The ¼” drive ratchet is engineered with 90-tooth design, which creates a 4-degree arc for working in tight spaces.

Power the Inflator and Impact Wrench with the 18V ONE+ Compact 4.0Ah Battery. It has an on-board fuel gauge for checking battery charge on the go. Charge any ONE+ battery with the 18V ONE+ 1.5A Charger.

    No

  • Nope

  • No

  • I need only the Impact Wrench.

    • The impact wrench skin is $269. For just another $30, it's a good deal!

  • Nice

  • fyi it is NOT DIGITAL Pressure Inflator

    • Thanks for pointing that out. I just copied paste what's on the website. I will modify the post

    • Strange. Even the Ryobi website mentions it as digital one.

Can confirm it is indeed a digital inflator.
      Source: I have this inflator.

How accurate it is in pressure reading, pressure reliability, is debatable.
      Source: I have this inflator.

It tops up my motorbike tyres prior to riding, quick and easy and simple.
I wouldn't use it for anything accurate, without using a seperate and more reliable/accurate gauge.

      • Are you saying you purchased this kit and it came with the digital inflator, or you have the very similar looking digital inflator.

      • +1

        Wrong.
The inflator in this kit has an analogue dial gauge.
Source: I am looking at this kit right now.

        • Thanks. Duly corrected.
I obviously have the very similar looking digital inflator…

  • You'd think they'd include BCL1418IV charger in their "Automotive" kit

Pretty sure whoever designed this kit isn’t a car person, otherwise they would have included something other than 1/4” sockets.

  • I changed a car battery the other day with a ratchet socket wrench and it required an extension drive bar. This set does not include one.

  • Has anyone tried out the impact wrench? Any good?

I've tried the Ozito version (215NM, not the newer 400NM) and Aldi equivalent (350NM) and both were pathetic and could not breakaway properly torqued (torque wrench) 110NM wheel nuts.

I was thinking about the more powerful Ryobi RIW18X (900NM) but can't imagine on a car I'd need more breakaway torque than the 450NM Ryobi listed here if the 450NM is actually a legitimate figure.

    • I don't have any Ryobi impact wrenches but in my experience, real world use never matches lab results/marketing spiel so I would expect it to struggle. I know on the last of the Bosch Blue tools that I still have, the little impact can't do most wheel nuts despite specs saying it should but the big boy does it easily so you will get use out of the big one on a car, especially if you're going to do any suspension work though I will caution that I've broken more bolts with the big impact that with any other tool (usually trying to remove stuck stuff that some monkey rattle gunned on while cross threaded).

      • Thanks for your input.

For others who might be interested there is a decent showing of the tool here:

        https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LFXrrvlvZcA&t=471s&pp=ygUbY29t…

But as you've said, perhaps in real use (with some corrosion etc) it might not perform as well, which was certainly the case with those lesser impact wrenches I mentioned. Though this one looks pretty decent in the testing.

        • That does look good though the US site and the Aus site list slightly different specs (unit conversions aside) so I wonder if they're actually the same. Anyway, had to go to Bunnings this morning and this pack was only $269 at my local so picked one up. I could do with some more batteries as some of mine are now 5+ years and starting to show their age and 4ah batteries are $149 on their own so $120 for all the rest is a bargain. I'll gumtree the inflator (already have one) and charger and probably my old Bosch little impact and should basically get the new impact for free.

          • @apsilon: That's an awesome price. Let me know it goes if you use it.

            • +1

@somethingguy: I've replied to your PM but I have a feeling the price has changed across the board. Agree it's a great price though, couldn't pass it up for that.

          • @apsilon: $269 on the app
