That was a winner of a price
How long ago was that? Thanks!
Wow. I thought $119 was good.
I have a strange question - I have this and when the PC powers off, I hear a physical "click" noise. Is this normal or is it just mine? 😂 TIA
Probably from your air cooler when your PC shuts down. It does not happen with my AIO builds.
Nah it definitely is from the PSU - only started after I replaced my old PSU, I have an AIO anyway
@lachhelix: I dont know about yours but for me it was the same sort of noise in my pc as well. I tried to investigate and after a long inspection, I found out that it was my sag bracket blocking my 3rd fan of my GPU lol.
It's normal, the click noise came from the relay in your PSU, mostly found on modern mid to high end units to further improve safety and efficiency.
Thanks @sbtswr - my old one just must have been shit haha
Good price, thought I done alright @ $119.
Just bought this the other day from mware at the same price.
Very happy with it so far, very quiet.
Is this enough for a 4080?
Yes!
I use a 750w gold PSU with a 4080 and a 5900x, no issues at all
I didn't know Thermaltake makes A-tier PSUs.
They rebrand from other manufacturers. This one is an A-tier because it was made by CWT, similar to Corsair's HX series.
Picked up the Toughpower GF1 650W for $129.
Recently built my PC with this PSU. Quality was great and works very well. Managed to get it when it was $99 on Amazon AU.
