Normal eBay members can use MEAS15 for a slightly lower discount (discount is $2.34 less… almost the same).

Valid until midnight tonight!

This is a cracking deal I think for Fairy’s top range of dishwashing capsules. Works out to $0.40 per capsule. With eBay gift cards, this comes down to sub-$0.40, which I think is excellent.

Keep in mind that this is for the Platinum Plus capsules. There’s another live deal through Amazon, but that’s only for the regular Platinum range.

These capsules apparently have built-in rinse aid.

Not sure this is a deal. Cheap for these tablets but at 40c per table there are cheaper tablets that work pretty well according to CHOICE reviews. also it gets an F Ethical Rating according to CHOICE, compared to B and C for other cheaper tablets that perform as well or better.

    • Of course it’s a deal. This is a very cheap price for this particular range of dishwashing capsules.

It seems like what you’re trying to say is that you don’t necessarily think this range of capsules provides value for money, or is an ethical choice. Which is a different matter.

Is it a deal if a different brand works the same or better at a lower price?

        • Again, your logic is faulty.

What you’re really saying is that you don’t think these capsules are value for money.

A deal is a discount, which is objective fact. You might think this is a deal not worth taking up, but it is still a deal nevertheless.

Feel free to provide your thoughts in the other Fairy Platinum (Amazon) post.

  • Are capsules really worth it? Always just seemed like fancy packaging and marketing hype to me.
We buy the name brand powder for $3.90 and get about 40 loads out of each bottle. 9c per load. Glasses are always sparkling clean.

    • No. You dissolve the plastic to get to the powder in a capsule, it's just pure waste. You can get liquid products in a bottle too.

I guess people find them more convenient and the dosage is always measured.

  • Aldi powder > tablets.

  • Meh. Below 0.25c per tablet is what I’ll consider a deal. (For me)

  • This isn’t even close to being a deal. 25c/tab or under only for these ones.
