Potentially a deal for a niche few, but these things rarely go on sale.
40% off an Odysea softboard delivered is a steal!

Looks to be a few bodyboards for the kids, shortboards for the men, and longboards for the oldies 😩
Something for everyone!

Thanks. Great deal. as you said, very rare for those boards to go on sale, especially 40% off.

  • Any recommendations for beginners?

    • General rule is more volume = easier to stand up!

Caveat is I would skip the 9ft longboard unless you plan on cruising on smaller waves/enjoy longboard riding, as there's not much room for progression once you outgrow it.

Depending on your height/weight, there are a couple good 6ft/6'6ft ones!

Also see there is a 5ft10 "Random Softboards Entry Level Softboard" for $197.40 if you are a bit lighter/shorter and want to try it out and not hurt the bank! I wouldn't go any shorter than that if beginning.

  • What do you recommend for a 180cm tall and 83kgs?

    • If starting out get something high literage!
Based on 83kgs some online surfboard volume calculators are saying anywhere from 50-65L for a beginner level surfer. The more you surf the less volume you'll need, but I think by that point you probably would have a specific board you are eyeing up.

This 6'6 board Seems to be good volume, however a little bit more cabbage!

  • Mate, if you've never surfed go for 8 or 9 foot softboard.
