    • Have you ever installed a car seat before? If you have you would understand

      Care to elaborate?

      • Care to answer the question?

        • Yes. explain?

          • @ihfree: Then you should know. Stop pestering

            • @MuddyClear: Do the community a favour and explain it for those who haven't installed a car seat

  • Decent price might get another

  • In the later years is there significant benefit in this kind of seat vs some kind of cheaper booster? I’m talking 4+?

    • Booster seat is cheaper

      • Kids 4 and up prefer the booster. Less daggy. They're easier to clean, move, get in and out of, replace, etc etc.

      • +1

        Would you go cheaper tyres?

        • +1

          Yes if good quality

        • Would you go cheaper car

    • Just safety and comfort. If you're never in an accident and your child can sit in a booster seat for hours on long drives comfortably then no difference.

  • +1

Aldi are selling an Infasecure 6mnth - 8yrs.seat for $79. Which is about what a seat should sell for..

    P.S. Ops username checks out.

    • We have one of the infrasecure seats from Aldi. I bought it after missing out on a deal for one of these.

I planned to replace it if there were any issues, difficulties or another sale. It's been 6 months and there have been no issues and our child is happy in the seat.

  • How is this much better than the $100 one from target or kmart?

    • I don't know if it's $500 better but it does come with two drink holders so kids can learn nice and early how to drink and drive😉

In all seriousness something with a five point harness is going to be better than something with just a sash seat belt.

  • For that price it doesn't even come with ISOFIX!

    • Hmmm, it seems there are no Aus ISOFIX seats that work for kids > 4 years old. How crap.

      • Yep, Aussie car seats are a joke. Simulate a lateral impact (t-bone) and watch em go.

FYI - I bought an isofix adapter belt from Ebay for $15. Its a start.

        • thanks for the tip

  • Looks like it’s $699 everywhere now anyway. So really not a bargain.

    • If you're not fortunate enough to live close to one of those stores offering it for $699 and particularly if you live in the country there is still good money to be saved because postage from most, if not all of those stores is more than $11.55.

  • Has anyone tried to price match at Baby Bunting?

    • They dont have this model. Thats why they have the exclusive + line of Britax seats, so they cant be price matched.

      • Ah yes I was mixing it up with the black opal model, cheers.

  • Ordered this for delivery for NSW yesterday, just received an email saying the $11 postage is an error and asking for an extra $100.

    • Oh that's a shame. Try price match with a local store?
