  Damn, I just bought a used Traktor S4 MK3 for $700 as a beginner looking to learn to DJ. A bit bummed as these were $570 + when looking last week.

    S4 mk3 is a good deal for $700, has the rotating platters, 4 channels, XLR outs, and looks a lot sturdier setup than the FLX. Only issue would be you will be using traktor software rather than Pioneer/Rekordbox. If you start playing out at bars/clubs that use CDJ setup you will just need export your playlists to Rekordbox via a file conversion app (using an old version of Rekordbuddy), export to USB stick and you are good to go.

    Traktor S4 is a lot better then this unit. Why would you be bummed?

  Ahh this is the replacement for the DDJ-400. I have myself a DDJ-200 and a DDJ-FLX6.
