  • on ebay sca with 20$ voucher , might be targeted or plus only

    • I have ebay plus, only the $5 voucher that is part of ebay plus monthly promo is showing up.

      • Targeted apparently:
Eligible ebay plus members get AU $20 off purchased off AU $150 or more. Code seems to be unique

        • I have a $25 voucher! Happy days!

I have the pet one for my kids. Its excellent.

    • surely it would hurt

Just hire from Bunnings for $40 when you need it.

    • +2

More convenient when you have it in the cupboard

      • For sure, if you don't have a Bunnings within 10 min drive from you.

Also, the Britex there while not great are much better than the product in the deal.
The most important thing about these machines is the suction power not so much the other features.

    Huge upvote for this!

4yo vomited a couple of times on our cream coloured wool carpet and two attempts by a 30 year industry professional to remove the stains were unsuccessful.

Then borrowed one of these from a friend and we solved it to about 90% cleaned up. We were very happy as we’d almost committed to a $3000 carpet replacement.

    I might buy this!

  • This or the Turbo model for $285 from Good Guys Commercial?

    • +2

After reading comments in previous deals I went with the turbo. I don’t have this one to compare but the turbo is excellent.

    • Shows up as $295 for me. Dang I wish I bought it when it was less

      • Turbo from TGG?
        OR this deal?

        • +1

Turbo + Antibac from TGG Commercial

  • Recommend purchasing ear protection if you do not have any when using these as they are quite loud and due to the short tubing and interior use can likely cause damage with long periods of use. I have a pair of 3M from Bunnings so not that expensive.

A brush as well to agitate any dirt and grime prior to use.

For cleaning agent I find Bissell’s own brand to be the best - very effective concentrate, comes in different scents and available at Good Guys, Harvey Norman, etc for just overt $20 or so.

  • never realised these had gone up in price so much, I remembering purchasing them for 135. My first one died but was just within warranty. it's been replaced but I haven't used it much. that said, very helpful and do recommend getting one.

  • $25 off with my eBay plus voucher, thanks!

I have this specific model that I purchased in 2020, and it has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion. Pretty much no difference between this and the other models except the brushes. I have 3 cats, a dog and a 2 year old and it has cleaned up everything from vomit to coffee to pee to orange juice with no issues. Having it available in my house and ready to go in a couple of minutes to clean up spills is worth every cent. You dont want to let some stains seep into your carpet for too long or you give yourself a lot more work.

    • Any negatives from this product? How much did you pay?

      • Not any negatives from me. I own this and also an upright carpet cleaner and both have great power behind them. I paid around 180 but this was pre-pandemic so things were a bit cheaper then.

Why not just buy a spray bottle and wet/dry vacuum?

  • What about the hand-held version?

  • Essential if you have kids and carpet. If I spent $40 every time I needed it (and I needed it when my kid threw up at 2 am not at convenient times bunnings is open) I would have spent twice the price of this product.

    • What solution do you use with this one please @adamp237?

  • I tried both this one and the turbo and ended up buying the turbo, hands down the better product.
    This one lacks power

    • Did you buy the turbo from this deal or from another?
How much did you pay for it?
330W vs 750W is indeed a big difference, but only if the prices were near to each other, IMo. Someone else said $285, that's definitely worth the consideration.

I've spent $320, bought it 2 years ago from RipperRentals (they do not exist anymore I believe). I use it cos I got two puppies that are just not smar enough to learn where is not cool to pee on.
It's still nowhere near as good as a proper carpet cleaner (good only for spot cleaning really) but much much better than the small one - I think the small one is okay only for cleaning your car seats and not for deep stains that require a lot of water such as dog pee - it just doesnt have the suction to extract all the water…

        • Gotcha. Thanks mate.
I hope your puppies are big boys now and know better! 😅

          • @lordra: Small girls (Italian greyhounds, cute but not very smart). One of the two is still confused and has her coulpe of spots in the carpet she loves to pee on. Living in an apartment doesnt help I guess…

            • @liongalahad: Try the puppy pee mats and the 'no pee' spray that some stores sell.
Couple that with the 'yes pee here' spray and stop the no pee one after it's done. Put the pee mates on top of the carpet and see what happens. Then slowly move the pee mats a meter at a time.

@lordra: thnks mate, I have tried everything. She does pee on the pee pads, just not exlusively on them. The other dog got it eventually, and holds it for the park, or pees in the dog toilet in the balcony - the other one just doesnt get it, she has improved a bit over time, but not enough - Im just hoping something will click one day and she'll get it.
