Thanks for the navigation, next item on the list was this and met my requirements

    • Thanks bought 2

      • +1

Any remember how much Costco's one is?

    • Thanks bought 3 and received.
However I'm surprised to find out they were not packaged at all. Is this normal?

  • +28

Its been this price forever. Not a bargain.

    • +1

      Define forever?

It has been this price since February.

    • +1

The price was hiked back up to retail a while ago, and as mentioned it had only been reduced again recently.

    • -1

It being this price for a while doesn't make it not a bargain. Long-running deals are a thing.

  • Get a squatty potty

  • +4

3 Ply Double Length is better buy!

    • How so?
      48 rolls at 180 sheets is $22.73 = .26/100 sheets
      40 rolls (20 double rolls) at 180 sheets (360 for the double) is $23.18 = .32/100 sheets.

      • Huh?

        $22.73
        3 ply x 180 sheets per roll x 48 rolls = 25,920 ply

        $20.70
        4 ply x 140 sheets per rolls x 30 rolls = 16,800 ply

        • -1

          Oh yes, I forgot 3ply vs 4ply.

        • +3

idk mate 25k ply… that's a lot of ply in one sheet ;)

        • +1

          In use, 2 sheets of 4ply = 3 sheets of 3 ply
This ordinarily puts them pretty close in price, but I prefer the 4ply as you can safely use a single sheet for a finishing pass. I don't trust a single 3 ply.

      • +3

Yeah but it’s time consuming having to separate the plys

    • +2

3 Ply Double Length is better buy!

That's what I would say, but then - there's a better chance you'd use only 1 sheet of the 4-ply one per round.

      • +1

He doesn't know how to use the seashells.

  • +2

    We need Tuffy promo back

  • +6

Amazon recommends a reorder every two months. Have they met my wife? She can get through 30 rolls in two days.

    • +11

      Thanks for sharing!

    • +1

      That's a lot of fibre.

      Reminds me of this scene.

      Excellent show, by the way.

      • Why is this a show.

        • Why is this a show.

          Because it's excellent.

    • Same.

This toilet paper is not good. I used it recently and it is just too soft. I am not sure how serious you clean your bum, but I want it super clean. It is so soft that it’s tearing apart whilst wiping. Maybe a bit too much info, but I even found toilet paper when showering on my body. 3ply is the perfect combo and compromise!

    • +22

Same Same. I clean mine hard as well, won't stop until it's bleeding.

      • did you continue wiping until the bleeding stops? :P

      • +5

Ideally I would love to have a bidet, but my wife is very “Australian” and doesn’t want one. There’s something about bidets and Australians being scared. It’s more than the funny scene in the Crocodile Dundee movie. A lot of people in Australia ignore the fact that bidets are a good solution. I lived most of my life in Germany and nearly every family has a bidet. Especially women love them who praise hygiene.

        • +1

This! Bidets are awesome and are so much at cleaning your butt. After living in Japan for a while it takes a while to get used to but becomes normal. Awesome and refreshing the feeling of a clean butt. Comparable to just wiping your hands with tissues/paper towels instead of washing them with water.

        • +1

Why don't you get the bidet.
          You use the bidet.
She can continue to use her tp.
Don't have to give up one for the other. @Thehairpolice

      • +1

Have you tried going to bunnings and getting those metal scourers instead?

    • +1

a bit TMI but probably need more fibre in your life so that you reduce the number of sheets required.

    • Can you recommend a brand?

    • +2

You don’t clean yourself properly with toilet paper only. Water and soap are necessary.

    • That’s why they invented baby wipes.

Start with paper, end with Pampers.

  • Temporarily out of stock.

  • 4 ply is overkill, quilton 3 ply is the sweet spot

  • +5

    Oz-backinstock

    Not a bargain

    • Bargains that are back in stock are bargains too.

      • +1

But it's not even back in stock.

If we post about this loo paper everytime Amazon merely have an inventory fart, we'd be gere all day.

Now, if it drops to $16, then I want to know.

  • Normal price, no deal..

  • Are these the ones that arrive damaged? Not from so much travelling but how Quilton pack them. They feel like factory seconds

    • Clicked on link, it says 3 ply virgin paper as ingredient… very special paper

  • Costcos are much better quality. forget about this rip through cheap piece of thing

  • +1

The 3 ply seems better now.

  • i bought this for $13.50 18 months ago, glad i invested in smart toilet seat, save lots of money for wiping butts..lol

  • This has been my toilet paper of choice for many years. Pre-covid, I could pick up a 30-pack for $13.50 at Woolworths. SInce Covid, they have increased the price by 50%+ and no longer go on sale.
