but i'm definitely gonna make my money back on this deal.

how? are you going to sell it ???

    • Lol JV I admit it… I cracked up.

  • "You’ll have an hour and half in Japanese foodie heaven where you can eat your fill of a huge range of delicious authentic dishes"

    time limit? really?

    • if they only serve you every 30 mins, that's only 3 dishes… :(

    • Most restaurant all-you-can-eat deals I can think of have a time limit. It stops people from camping from morning to night and taking away their seats from other customers.

That said, of course both parties can abuse what is a reasonable rule, so remember to check reviews before you go.

  • Last time I went for one of these all you can eat, 1 dish at a time deal, they served each dish 30 mins after you order! This was at a Chinese dumpling place though…

    • if it was from a group buy place and you werent properly server in your opinion I would tell the site you buought it from ask for a refund.

On your marks, get set, gyoza!

  • google maps shows this address as Yutaka, this place use to have all you can eat buffet style sushi and misc others. Dont recall ever having had softshell crab there. it was cheap, i think under $15 per person for lunch though no beer. Diner was more expensive but may have had more variety.

Not a bargain when they serve you with new dish every 30 mins.

    • +2

so where does it say they only serve once every 30 mins?

  • +2

these 30 min talk are BIG assumptions. unless someone can actually back it up for THIS store, then its pretty meaningless and rude

  • +4

"Max dining time is 1.5 hours; dishes must be ordered one at a time when previous dish is completed."
so once you order, they make it, and then serve it, and then you eat it before you can order your second dish?…

kind of sounds like one dish every 30 mins..

    • +2

dishes must be ordered one at a time

      what a ridiculous condition…

  • i got a similar voucher for wasabi bistro at surry hills but I cant get anyone to come with me, my voucher you get a wine or 100ml sake each and I dont drink alcohol. if anyone wants to join me (for free) pm me.

    • You would go out and dine with a stranger? Very brave :)

      • +2

its in public, i dont see the problem?

How do you meet new friends if you dont talk to strangers.

    • +1

I've been to wasabi bistro at surry hills using the voucher and it was great. And there was no stupid condition that you can order only one dish a a time.

      • Been there too (Wasabi Bistro). Great place. They are even selling the same deal but directly from the shop itself. I suggest you ring them up if interested. You can order everything on the menu and no time delay. I almost wasn't able to finish what I ordered

        • too bad it's in syd. will keep in mind if i go for a holiday!

"Max dining time is 1.5 hours; dishes must be ordered one at a time when previous dish is completed".
This ridiculous condition kills the deal…
You order one dish (which will be a couple of pieces of sushi or sashimi). Then you have to wait till they make it a bring it. Obviously, they can take their time and you may wait from 10 to 30 mins, then you eat your sushi within 2 seconds and order again… So in 1.5 hours you will have only several pieces of sushi or sashimi. And will leave hungry.
    No deal.

    • Exactly, this is the sneakiest deal of all time. Imagine going with 6 people!!!!????? Biggest scam of all time.

    • You order one dish (which will be a couple of pieces of sushi or sashimi)

If you look the menu, you should be able to order the large sashimi which is 18 pieces, or the large sushi which is 15 pieces.

But I agree that having a time limit, and not knowing how long it will take them to serve each dish may be a bit of a problem.

  • There was a different ourdeal deal for the same place a couple of weeks ago, which was $19 for $40 value.

  • I liked the look of this deal a lot, but my idea of all you can eat is when you have several dishes all going at once and you can select lots of different bite sized portions of food and eat them slowly. This is not that at all. This is going to be a case of eat one dish quickly so you can order your next one. No deal. You can't even order one dish per person at a time.

  • i would think it's one dish at a time per person. it was for a chinese one we went to and had more then we can eat.

doesn't really make sense to order a few piece of anything if there was 6 people!
