the 1.5m cable is an extension cable.. MF
I missed that, thanks for highlighting
How many people honestly need anything faster than CAT 6A?
Hardly anyone, but if youre not paying more then it doesnt hurt to get better than what you need
IMO you're better off buying a good quality Fluke-certified CAT 6A cable instead, especially since it's just a small patch cable.
Only people who support data centres.
Home devices, routers, computers, WAPS and the like won't support anything over CAT6A at the moment. There's no reason to build greater than that into a device that will never have the chance of seeing that sort of bandwidth.
CAT8 at home is kinda like installing 1m radius down pipes off your gutters. :P
With these plugs it can't be a real CAT8 cable anyway from what I know.
Virtually no one outside of commercial use
virtually no one even in commercial scenario's use. fibre is the common use when you get into requirements above 10gb
Managed to score the 0.5 M one thanks
thanks op got the 25ft
You can use the discount on multiple orders. Got a good number of 0.5M for my NBN cabinet!
Should probably test your endpoint data transfer speed after installing. May be slower as the technology is generally not supported with residential devices.
I'm waiting for Cat 9 before I pull the trigger…
