    Apple marketing at its best, they would rather discontinue an item than discount.
    I know with phones Apple controls the sale price even on older models I would expect accessories are the same.

  Literally Just Picked up apple pencil 2nd from marketplace for $100 . This Apple Pencil 1 is a dead tech worth only $20-40
