Id imagine will be conpatible with a gamehub
The Playstion compatible bundle is $430 more.
I don't think that wheel is Xbox compatible. The licencing is built into the wheel for Xbox. The cheapest being about $350 (CSL Elite Steering Wheel WRC)
Xbox®: This wheel base becomes compatible with Xbox One® and Xbox Series X|S when used with any Fanatec Xbox-licensed steering wheel.
Thanks. Looks like you are correct. I'll update the post accordingly.
The cool thing is technically you can achieve a PlayStation and Xbox compatible system by buying a PlayStation base and an Xbox wheel… really wish they’d make that bundle instead of it being a custom order.
Which is what i have. Bought the DD Pro base which came with a PS compatible wheel. Then also bought the McLaren GT3 wheel which is xbox compat.
Saw from one of the comment on Reddit saying this is only possible if you buy ps4 base then add ms wheel later but not the other way round. Is this true?
All the Fanatec bases are PC and xbox compatible
No clutch for this price??
Welcome to driving simulators. The higher end it is, the less you get. Think quality over quantity.
If it had a clutch, then people would also ask "No H-Shifter to go with that clutch?"
I have this wheel, with the clutch, load cell and shifter. And a few wheels. It's very good!
That's the issue with this kit. The accelerator and brake supplied are quite basic.
To get closer to a proper brake feel you need to buy the 'load cell brake' add-on which is expensive for the quality at $250. The existing brake pedal can then become the clutch pedal.
Once you splash out the extra cash for the load cell, the advertised bundle is no longer such a good deal as it now totals $1,050.
If you order these components separately - base, wheel, and pedal set with load cell which is everyday discounted by $80 - the total comes to $1,100.
Given that everyone in the sim racing community will tell you a load cell brake is essential, and you are guaranteed to want one eventually, the real saving is only $50.
In that case, you may as well build a system with better brakes (CSL Elite V2 $500) and steering wheel ($350 to $1,000). Welcome to the sim racing rabbit hole!
So much money. I'm about to put my racing cockpit on scambook for $100 as I don't have any room for it.
One day I will buy another rig, one day!
Is the wheel base compatible with the Fanatec older clubsport V1 pedals? Still has it came with the PS3 Porsche bundle.
Would something like this bundle be better?

In terms of value, I'd say no. If you were to purchase the components separately there wouldn't really be any "savings" as the three pedal set can be had for $299.
In terms of the parts, it depends on your priorities. The motor will provide stronger feedback (8nm vs 5nm) but really the only difference is in the included power brick. The wheel is higher quality and has more buttons, and really suited for open wheel and GT racing. If you want to do any drifting or rallying or road car racing however this wheel won't be easy to slip through your hands. And if you are going to be primarily racing open wheel then you need to consider if you even need a clutch pedal as F1 cars do not have them.
Remember to unlock the full 8nm with a DIY power brick!
Thanks OP. Just put an order through. Saying April 27th expected delivery now though.
No love for PS4/5?
