Nearly bought this 2 weeks ago somewhere else for $350. This is so light and compact at 5.2KG you can weld up to 6mm plate, A good back up welder or light duty for difficult spots.

  If I want to weld stainless steel (welding a splashback to a sink), is it better to use gas or gasless wire? Gasless stainless wire seems quite expensive, but I'm a newby at welding, and don't know if buying cylinders will be more expensive than the gasless wire.
