    jetstar is cheaper. whats wrong with jetstar? what advantages does virgin have? it's like a 1 hour flight for me, why go virgin for a short flight for more money?

      I have had too many delays with Jetstar.
      Last time was i Get to the airport, see Virgin leave on time but Jetstar delayed saying they are waiting for cabin crew to arrive of all things. Then its delayed again, no reason.
      Gold Coast to Sydney ended up 2.5 hours..

        Virgin is just a more pleasant experience overall. Nicer staff, more enjoyable flight, seats always seem more comfortable and roomy (not sure if that's accurate but it definitely feels that way).
        I'm also Platinum, and my husband is Gold, so we'll always pick Virgin over Jetstar if we can.
